OTC trading bot — automated trading when markets close

Broker OTC assets stay open through the weekend. AutobotSignal runs your AI, Telegram, TradingView or MetaTrader signals on them with the same risk rules you use all week — and never confuses an OTC instrument with its live twin.

What OTC trading is — and why automation needs to treat it differently

OTC (over-the-counter) assets are instruments the broker itself quotes, so they stay tradeable when the underlying market is closed — most importantly through the weekend. Quotex lists an OTC twin for many instruments, and Pocket Option runs its own _otc symbols around the clock.

The catch is that an OTC instrument and its live twin are different markets with different prices. A trading bot that treats "EUR/USD" and "EUR/USD OTC" as the same asset will sooner or later execute a signal on the wrong one. AutobotSignal routes every signal to the exact instrument it named — OTC and live assets are never mixed, on any broker.

The second catch is time: because OTC runs 24/7 on some brokers, an automated bot left armed on Friday keeps trading all weekend. A schedule and a daily trade cap make that a decision rather than an accident.

How the automated bot handles OTC

OTC and live assets never get mixed up

An OTC instrument is a distinct symbol to the bot, not an alias. A weekday EUR/USD signal never lands on EUR/USD OTC by accident, and a weekend OTC signal never waits for the live market to open.

Any signal source, same routing

AI agents, Telegram channels, TradingView alerts and MetaTrader signals all pass through the same router. If the signal names an OTC asset, the trade goes to that OTC asset — on whichever broker you connected.

Weekend trading is opt-in, not an accident

Set a trading schedule and a daily trade cap so the bot only trades the hours and volume you intended. An armed bot on Friday night is a choice you make, not a surprise on Monday.

Your risk rules apply on OTC too

Stake sizing, martingale or compounding ladders, take-profit and stop-loss session limits — every rule you set for the week applies unchanged to weekend OTC trading.

How to set up the OTC trading bot

The same five-minute setup as any broker — OTC assets are there once the broker is connected.

  1. 1

    Download and connect a broker

Install AutobotSignal for desktop, then connect Quotex, Pocket Option, Olymp Trade, IQ Option or Expert Option. Both 24/7 brokers — Quotex and Pocket Option — work with a free demo account.

  2. 2

    Pick a signal source

Choose an AI agent, add a Telegram channel or signal key, or wire up TradingView or MetaTrader alerts. Signals that name OTC assets route to OTC assets — nothing extra to configure.

  3. 3

    Set your schedule and caps

Decide when the bot may trade and how many trades per day it may place. This is what makes 24/7 OTC markets safe to automate — the bot stops when your rules say stop.

  4. 4

Start on demo, then go live

Run the setup against the broker's practice balance first — Pocket Option's is $50,000 with unlimited refills. Flip to a real account only when the weekend behaviour matches what you expect.

Start on a demo account. Automated trading can lose money and no win rate or profit is guaranteed — you are responsible for the rules you configure.

OTC trading bot — frequently asked questions

An instrument the broker quotes itself rather than sourcing from an exchange, so it stays open when the underlying market is closed — including weekends. Prices are the broker's own and differ from the live market.
